Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets ETS-related transcription factor Elf-1 (gene ELF1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 67.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 75 kDa.
ELF1 is a transcription factor of the ETS family that binds purine-rich DNA motifs. It is expressed mainly in lymphoid cells, activates genes such as LYN and BLK, and is studied in immune cell gene regulation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human COLO-320 cells, human A549 cells, human PANC-1 cells, human A431 cells, human Jurkat cells, human 293T cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places ETS-related transcription factor Elf-1 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): In fetal tissues, it is highly expressed in heart, lung liver and kidney, and weakly expressed in brain. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
