Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects microtubule-associated protein RP/EB family member 3 (gene MAPRE3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
EB3 (MAPRE3) is an end-binding protein that follows the growing plus ends of microtubules and favors their growth and stability. It is abundant in neurons and also helps anchor non-centrosomal microtubules at the Golgi, which supports directional cell movement. Fluorescent EB3 is widely used to visualize microtubule polymerization in living cells.
