Product Overview
Clone 24U00 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UBR5 in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 309.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 309 kDa.
UBR5 is a large HECT-type E3 ubiquitin ligase that acts in protein quality control in both the cytoplasm and nucleus. It mainly lengthens ubiquitin chains on proteins that already carry ubiquitin and also takes part in the N-end rule pathway. UBR5 is studied in DNA damage signaling, transcription regulation and cancer biology.
