Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes endothelin receptor type B (gene EDNRB) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Endothelin receptor type B (EDNRB) is a G protein-coupled receptor that binds all three endothelins with similar affinity. It mediates vasodilation and clearance of endothelin-1 and is needed for development of enteric neurons and melanocytes, so its loss is linked to Hirschsprung disease.
| Target | Endothelin receptor type B (gene EDNRB; UniProt P24530, human) |

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
| Flow cytometry | Not specified by the supplier |
Immunogen
Recombinant human EDNRB fragment (Glu27–Tyr439), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 89.9%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places endothelin receptor type B in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in placental stem villi vessels, but not in cultured placental villi smooth muscle cells.
