Product Overview
Clone 15C3 is a mouse monoclonal antibody that recognizes endothelin receptor type B (gene EDNRB) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 49.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 45 kDa.
Endothelin receptor type B (EDNRB) is a G protein-coupled receptor that binds all three endothelins with similar affinity. It mediates vasodilation and clearance of endothelin-1 and is needed for development of enteric neurons and melanocytes, so its loss is linked to Hirschsprung disease.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human placenta tissue, human Caco-2 cells, human SW620 cells, human HepG2 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the C-terminal region of human EDNRB. It differs from the mouse and rat sequences at one residue.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places endothelin receptor type B in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in placental stem villi vessels, but not in cultured placental villi smooth muscle cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
