Product Overview

Clone 21E39 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes EH domain-containing protein 1 (gene EHD1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 60.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 61 kDa.

EHD1 is an ATP-binding EH-domain protein that shapes and tubulates endosomal membranes. It regulates recycling of receptors from endosomes back to the plasma membrane and is studied in endocytic trafficking.

Reactivity Notes

The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places EH domain-containing protein 1 in the recycling endosome membrane, early endosome membrane and cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in testis. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.

Safety

Handling: the formulation contains sodium azide as a preservative. Wear gloves, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and dispose of waste according to local regulations. For research use only; not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
