Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets EH domain-containing protein 2 (gene EHD2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 61.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 61 kDa.
EHD2 is an EH-domain ATPase that binds membranes and is concentrated at the neck of caveolae. It helps stabilize caveolae and plays roles in membrane trafficking, including GLUT4 uptake and myoblast fusion.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human U-87MG cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A549 cells.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places EH domain-containing protein 2 in the cell membrane, membrane and endosome membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in heart and moderately expressed in placenta, lung, and skeletal muscle. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
