Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects EH domain-containing protein 4 (gene EHD4) in human, mouse, rat and monkey samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 61.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
EHD4 is an EH-domain ATPase involved in early endosomal transport. It has been linked to trafficking of VE-cadherin at endothelial junctions during sprouting angiogenesis and is studied in membrane recycling.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human HepG2 cells, monkey heart tissue, human placenta tissue, human Caco-2 cells, human PC-3 cells, rat pancreas tissue, rat heart tissue, rat testis tissue, rat C6 cells, mouse pancreas tissue, mouse heart tissue, mouse testis tissue, mouse RAW264.7 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U2OS cells, U251 cells.

Recombinant human EHD4 fragment (Arg12–Asp541), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse, rat and monkey. UniProt places EH domain-containing protein 4 in the early endosome membrane, recycling endosome membrane and cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in pancreas and heart. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
