Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets alpha-enolase (gene ENO1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Alpha-enolase (ENO1) is the glycolytic enzyme that interconverts 2-phosphoglycerate and phosphoenolpyruvate, and it is expressed in most tissues. It can also appear on the cell surface as a plasminogen-binding receptor, and an alternative product (MBP-1) represses the MYC promoter, so ENO1 is studied in metabolism, cancer and autoimmunity.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Human) |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Recombinant human ENO1 fragment (Arg50–Glu250), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places alpha-enolase in the cytoplasm and cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): The alpha/alpha homodimer is expressed in embryo and in most adult tissues.
