Product Overview
Clone 25E49 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ephrin type-B receptor 3 (gene EPHB3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 110.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 110 kDa.
EphB3 is an Eph-family receptor tyrosine kinase that binds ephrin-B ligands, triggering contact-dependent signaling in both cells. It participates in axon guidance, formation of tissue boundaries and positioning of intestinal crypt cells, and it is investigated in development and tumor biology.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human MCF-7 cells, human U251 cells, rat lung tissue, rat C6 cells, mouse lung tissue, human K562 cells, human HEL cells, human HepG2 cells, rat liver tissue, mouse liver tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human eph receptor B3.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places ephrin type-B receptor 3 in the cell membrane and cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
