Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects epidermal growth factor receptor substrate 15 (gene EPS15) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 98.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 138 kDa.
EPS15 is an endocytic adaptor first identified as a substrate of the EGF receptor kinase. Through its EH domains and ubiquitin-interacting motifs it helps assemble clathrin-coated pits and internalize activated receptor tyrosine kinases such as EGFR, linking receptor endocytosis to growth signaling.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue, mouse NIH-3T3 cells, human HeLa cells, human Jurkat cells, human HEK293 cells, human PC-3 cells, human THP-1 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): A431 cells.

Recombinant human EPS15 fragment (Met1–Lys295), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places epidermal growth factor receptor substrate 15 in the cytoplasm, cell membrane and membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
