Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects ETS translocation variant 5 (gene ETV5) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 57.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
ETV5 (also called ERM) is a PEA3-subgroup ETS transcription factor that binds GGAA-core DNA motifs. It is a downstream target of FGF and MAPK signaling and is needed for spermatogonial stem cell maintenance in the testis; it is also studied in development and tumor biology.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human A549 cells, human Sw620 cells, human HepG2 cells, rat C6 cells, mouse Neuro-2a cells, mouse HEPA1–6 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): MCF-7 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HL-60 cells.

Recombinant human ERM/Etv5 fragment (Asp72–Gln246), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places ETS translocation variant 5 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
