Scientific Background
Shiga toxin 2c B-subunit (shiga toxin type 2stx2B) is a ~9 kDa protein. The B subunit is responsible for the binding of the holotoxin to specific receptors on the target cell surface, such as globotriaosylceramide (Gb3) in human intestinal microvilli.
Reactivity
This antibody shows reactivity with Escherichia coli.
