Product Overview
Clone 24E94 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ETS-related transcription factor Elf-3 (gene ELF3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 41.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 140 kDa.
ELF3 (also called ESE-1) is an epithelium-specific ETS transcription factor. It regulates genes involved in epithelial differentiation and inflammation, and it is studied in epithelial biology and cancer.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human A431 cells, human PANC-1 cells, human A549 cells, human RT4 cells, mouse EL-4 cells, mouse NIH/3T3 cells, mouse heart tissue, rat C6 cells, rat heart tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:500, ECL detection.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places ETS-related transcription factor Elf-3 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed exclusively in tissues containing a high content of terminally differentiated epithelial cells including mammary gland, colon, trachea, kidney, prostate, uterus, stomach and skin. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
