Product Overview
Clone ADIB-20 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes trefoil factor 1 (gene TFF1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 9.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 9 kDa.
Trefoil factor 1 (TFF1, also called pS2) is a small secreted peptide made mainly by gastric surface mucous cells. It helps stabilize the mucus layer that protects the stomach lining, and it is also well known as an estrogen-responsive gene in breast cancer cells.
