Product Overview
Clone 25E79 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes transcription factor ETV6 in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 53.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 53 kDa.
ETV6 (also called TEL) is an ETS-family transcriptional repressor that is important for hematopoiesis and for blood stem cell survival. It is frequently involved in chromosomal translocations in leukemia, for example the ETV6-RUNX1 fusion, and inherited ETV6 variants cause thrombocytopenia with predisposition to leukemia.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): A431 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human ETV6.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places transcription factor ETV6 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
