Product Overview
Clone 21E99 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes RNA-binding protein EWS (gene EWSR1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 68.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 85 kDa.
EWS (EWSR1) is an RNA-binding protein of the FET family (with FUS and TAF15) that takes part in transcription and RNA processing. Its N-terminal domain is fused to ETS transcription factors such as FLI1 in Ewing sarcoma, and similar EWSR1 fusions drive several other sarcomas, making it a key gene in cancer genetics.
