Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects histone-lysine N-methyltransferase EZH1 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 85.3 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 110 kDa, 60 kDa.
EZH1 is a histone methyltransferase and catalytic subunit of Polycomb repressive complex 2 (PRC2). Like its paralog EZH2, it mono-, di- and trimethylates histone H3 lysine 27, producing a repressive mark. EZH1 is expressed in non-dividing as well as dividing cells and helps maintain gene silencing and stem cell function.

| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HepG2 cells, human HL-60 cells, human 293T cells, human Daudi cells, human Hacat cells, human HeLa cells, human MOLT-4 cells, rat testis tissue, rat C6 cells, mouse testis tissue, mouse NIH/3T3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): HeLa cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): RT4 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human EZH1 fragment (Arg27–Glu485), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places histone-lysine N-methyltransferase EZH1 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
