Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects fibronectin (gene FN1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Fibronectin (FN1) is a large extracellular matrix glycoprotein that binds integrins, collagen, fibrin and heparin. It exists as a soluble plasma form and as insoluble fibrils in tissues, and it supports cell adhesion, migration, wound healing and embryonic development. Fibronectin is a common matrix marker in studies of fibrosis and tissue repair.

Immunogen
Recombinant human Fibronectin/FN1 fragment (Asp869–Trp2014), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt describes fibronectin as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in the inner limiting membrane and around blood vessels in the retina (at protein level).
