Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (gene Flt3lg) in mouse and rat samples and is validated for ELISA and Western blot.
FLT3 ligand (FLT3LG, Flt3L) is a hematopoietic cytokine that activates the FLT3 receptor on early progenitor cells. It works together with other growth factors to expand hematopoietic progenitors and is essential for dendritic cell development, while also supporting B-cell development. Flt3L is widely used to generate dendritic cells in culture.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): rat thymus tissue, mouse thymus tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant rat Flt3 ligand fragment (Thr28–Gln189), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with mouse and rat. UniProt describes fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand as secreted and also located in the cell membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
