Product Overview
Clone ACA-6 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes forkhead box protein O3 (gene FOXO3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 71.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 76–90 kDa.
FOXO3 is a forkhead transcription factor inhibited by AKT phosphorylation downstream of insulin and growth factor signaling. When active in the nucleus, it drives genes for autophagy, oxidative stress resistance, cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. FOXO3 is studied in stem cell maintenance, muscle atrophy, cancer and aging.
