Product Overview
Clone AOGO-6 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes forkhead box protein P1 (gene FOXP1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 75.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 90 kDa.
FOXP1 is a forkhead transcriptional repressor that regulates development of the lung, heart, brain and immune system, including B-cell and T-cell differentiation. FOXP1 variants are linked to intellectual disability, autism and speech delay, and it is also studied in lymphoma and other cancers.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Jurkat cells, human A549 cells, human MCF-7 cells, rat brain tissue, mouse spleen tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): HeLa cells.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places forkhead box protein P1 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Isoform 8 is specifically expressed in embryonic stem cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
