Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes protein bicaudal C (gene BicC) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, Bicaudal C is an RNA-binding protein with KH domains that acts during oogenesis. It is needed for proper migration of anterior follicle cells and for setting up anterior–posterior polarity of the oocyte, and it regulates translation of target mRNAs, including through deadenylation of oskar mRNA.
