Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects RNA-binding protein cabeza (gene caz) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, Cabeza (caz) is an RNA-binding protein of the FET family and the fly counterpart of human FUS. It is found mainly in the nucleus and has been linked to RNA polymerase II transcription and RNA processing, and it is used in fly models of FUS-related neurodegeneration such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Fruit fly. UniProt places RNA-binding protein cabeza in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (Drosophila): Ubiquitous.
