Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes protein prickle (gene pk) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, Prickle (pk) is a LIM-domain cytoplasmic protein of the core planar cell polarity (PCP) pathway. Working with Frizzled, Dishevelled, Van Gogh and other core components, it helps cells in the wing, eye and bristle epithelia align their polarity within the tissue plane, and it is a classic model protein for PCP studies.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Fruit fly. UniProt places protein prickle in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (Drosophila): Expressed in the wing, leg and eye imaginal disks.
