Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects pro-corazonin (gene Crz) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, the corazonin precursor (Crz) is processed into corazonin, a neuropeptide first described for its cardioactive effect on the insect heart. Its expression is controlled in a cell-specific way by the circadian clock proteins Clock and Cycle, and fly models use it to study neuropeptide signaling, heartbeat regulation and stress physiology.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Fruit fly. UniProt places pro-corazonin in the [Corazonin]: Secreted. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (Drosophila): From late embryo to larva, expression is consistently detected in three neuronal groups: dorso-lateral neurons (DL), dorso-medial neurons (DM), and neurons in the ventral nerve cord (vCrz).
