Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects thioredoxin-1 (gene dhd) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, Deadhead (DHD) is a thioredoxin that uses a pair of active-site cysteines to reduce disulfide bonds in target proteins. It is expressed in the female germline and is needed for completion of female meiosis and for the earliest stages of embryogenesis. DHD is studied in redox regulation of the oocyte-to-embryo transition.
