Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes disks large 1 tumor suppressor protein (gene dlg1) in Fruit fly samples.
DLG1 (SAP97) is a membrane-associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) scaffold protein that clusters receptors, channels and signaling proteins at specific membrane sites. It supports epithelial polarity and cell junctions and also functions at synapses and the immunological synapse. Its Drosophila counterpart, Discs large, is a classic model tumor suppressor, and DLG1 is studied in cell polarity and signaling.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Fruit fly. UniProt places disks large 1 tumor suppressor protein in the cytoplasm, cell membrane and basolateral cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (Drosophila): During the cellular blastoderm stage, isoform B, isoform F, isoform H, isoform I and isoform L expression is localized to the cell borders.
