Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes dopamine receptor 1 (gene Dop1R1) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, Dop1R1 (also called DUMB or dDA1) is a D1-like dopamine receptor that couples to G proteins to raise cAMP levels. It is highly expressed in the mushroom bodies, where it is required for olfactory learning and memory, and it also influences arousal. Dop1R1 is studied in fly neurobiology and behavior.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Fruit fly. UniProt places dopamine receptor 1 in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (Drosophila): Expressed in the larval and adult CNS in structures that mediate higher-order brain functions such as learning, memory and motor control: in the mushroom body neuropil and four unpaired neurons in each thoracic segment.
