Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects protein doublesex (gene dsx) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, Doublesex (Dsx) is a transcription factor that controls somatic sexual differentiation. Sex-specific splicing produces female and male forms that regulate different target genes, such as the yolk protein genes in the female fat body, making Dsx a model for sex determination.
