Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects glucosylceramidase (gene Gba1b) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, Gba1b is one of the fly orthologs of human GBA1, the lysosomal glucocerebrosidase that degrades glucosylceramide. Flies lacking Gba1b are used as models of glucocerebrosidase deficiency, showing lipid build-up and age-related neurodegeneration.
