Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets giant nuclei (gene gnu) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, giant nuclei (gnu) is a maternal-effect gene needed in the early embryo to keep DNA replication coupled to nuclear division. Embryos lacking gnu form a few giant, highly polyploid nuclei, and the protein works with the kinase PAN GU at egg activation.
