Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (gene Gpdh1) in Fruit fly samples and is validated for ICC/IF.
In Drosophila, Gpdh1 encodes cytoplasmic glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, which interconverts dihydroxyacetone phosphate and glycerol 3-phosphate. In fly flight muscle it is a key part of the glycerol phosphate shuttle that supplies mitochondria with reducing power, and it is a classic enzyme in Drosophila metabolic and population genetics studies.
