Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor (gene Itpr) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, Itpr encodes the fly′s single inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3) receptor, a calcium channel in the endoplasmic reticulum. Opened by IP3, it releases stored calcium into the cytoplasm, and fly studies link it to neuronal function, flight behavior and olfactory and visual signaling.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Fruit fly. UniProt places inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (Drosophila): Segmental expression of isoform B is first detected in stage 13 embryos in lateral and posterior epidermis.
