Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes protein Lilipod in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, lilipod (lili) encodes a multipass membrane protein required in the ovary to keep germline stem cells self-renewing. It appears to support BMP signaling in these cells, and it is studied as part of the germline stem cell niche.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Fruit fly. UniProt places protein Lilipod in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (Drosophila): In the ovary, detected in germline stem cells and their progeny.
