Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes serine/threonine-protein (gene Lrrk) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, Lrrk is the fly counterpart of the human Parkinson's disease-associated kinase LRRK2, a large protein with leucine-rich repeats, a GTPase domain and a serine/threonine kinase domain. Fly Lrrk mutants and transgenic models are widely used to study how LRRK2-type kinases affect dopaminergic neurons, vesicle trafficking and neurodegeneration.
