Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects nuclear pore glycoprotein p62 (gene Nup62) in Fruit fly samples.
Nup62 is an O-GlcNAc-modified FG-repeat nucleoporin at the central channel of the nuclear pore complex, where it is central to nucleocytoplasmic transport. Outside the pore, it also associates with centrosomes and contributes to centrosome segregation and spindle orientation during mitosis.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Fruit fly. UniProt places nuclear pore glycoprotein p62 in the nucleus, chromosome, nucleus envelope and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (Drosophila): Expressed in adult male accessory glands (at protein level).
