Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes dynamin-like GTPase OPA1, mitochondrial in Fruit fly samples.
OPA1 is a dynamin-related GTPase of the inner mitochondrial membrane that drives inner membrane fusion and shapes cristae. Membrane-anchored long forms are cleaved by OMA1 and YME1L into short soluble forms, and the balance between them controls fusion. OPA1 mutations cause dominant optic atrophy, and it is studied in mitochondrial dynamics.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Fruit fly. UniProt places dynamin-like GTPase OPA1, mitochondrial in the mitochondrion inner membrane and mitochondrion intermembrane space.
