Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets polyadenylate-binding protein (gene pAbp) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, PABP is the main cytoplasmic poly(A)-binding protein. By binding mRNA poly(A) tails and linking them to the translation initiation machinery, it controls translation and mRNA stability, and in flies it contributes to circadian rhythms with Ataxin-2, to maternal mRNA regulation and to germline development.
