Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets peroxisomal membrane protein PEX14 in Fruit fly samples.
PEX14 is a peroxisomal membrane protein that, with PEX13, forms the docking complex for matrix protein import. It binds the cargo-loaded PTS1 receptor PEX5 (and PEX7) at the membrane, allowing cargo to cross into the peroxisome, and it has also been linked to peroxisome movement along microtubules. It is studied in peroxisome biogenesis in human and Drosophila.
