Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase (gene Tg) in Fruit fly samples.
Thyroglobulin (TG) is a very large glycoprotein made by thyroid follicular cells and stored in the follicle lumen. Selected tyrosines on thyroglobulin are iodinated and coupled to form the thyroid hormones T4 and T3, which are released after thyroglobulin is taken back up and degraded; serum thyroglobulin is also a standard marker in thyroid cancer follow-up.
