This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets myosin regulatory light chain sqh in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, spaghetti squash (sqh) encodes the regulatory light chain of non-muscle myosin II. Its phosphorylation activates myosin II contractility, which is required for cytokinesis and for many tissue shape changes during development, so sqh is widely used as a readout of actomyosin activity in fly studies.
