Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects protein telomere ends associated (gene tea) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, Tea (telomere ends associated) is part of the MTV complex that joins HipHop and HOAP to form terminin, the fly telomere-capping complex. Because fruit fly telomeres are maintained by retrotransposons rather than telomerase, proteins such as Tea bind telomeric DNA without sequence specificity and protect chromosome ends from fusion.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Fruit fly. UniProt places protein telomere ends associated in the nucleus and chromosome.
