Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects transient receptor potential-gamma protein (gene Trpgamma) in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, TRPγ (Trpgamma) is a member of the TRP channel family expressed in the eye. It can combine with TRPL to form a regulated cation channel and is thought to take part in the calcium entry that follows phospholipase C activation during phototransduction, making it a subject of fly vision research.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Fruit fly. UniProt places transient receptor potential-gamma protein in the cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (Drosophila): Expressed predominantly in the rhabdomeres of photoreceptor cells.
