This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes unc-13, isoform B in Fruit fly samples.
In Drosophila, Unc-13 is the fly member of the Munc13/UNC-13 family of presynaptic proteins. Members of this family prime synaptic vesicles at the active zone so that they can fuse and release neurotransmitter, and the Drosophila protein is studied in synaptic transmission.
