Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (gene Csf3) in human and mouse samples and is validated for ELISA and Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 22.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 22 kDa.
G-CSF (granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, gene CSF3) is the main cytokine that drives the production, maturation and release of neutrophils from the bone marrow. It is measured in studies of infection, inflammation and bone marrow recovery, and recombinant G-CSF is used clinically to treat neutropenia.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant mouse G-CSF fragment (Arg47–Ala208), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the human ortholog: 77.2%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt describes granulocyte colony-stimulating factor as a secreted protein. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
