Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects neutral alpha-glucosidase AB (gene GANAB) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
GANAB is the catalytic α subunit of glucosidase II, an ER enzyme that trims glucose residues from N-glycans on newly made glycoproteins. This trimming is a key step in the calnexin/calreticulin quality control cycle. GANAB is needed for proper maturation of polycystin-1, and mutations cause a form of polycystic kidney and liver disease.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places neutral alpha-glucosidase AB in the endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus and melanosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Detected in placenta.
