Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects GAS2-like protein 2 (gene GAS2L2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
GAS2-like protein 2 (GAS2L2) is a cytoskeletal linker that binds both actin and microtubules and interacts with microtubule plus-end proteins such as EB1 (MAPRE1). It is needed for the correct orientation and beating of motile cilia in airway cells, and mutations cause a form of primary ciliary dyskinesia.

Immunogen
Recombinant human GAS2L2 fragment (Arg43–Arg829), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 68.6% and 67.4%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places GAS2-like protein 2 in the cytoplasm and cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in bronchial and nasal epithelial cells (at protein level).
