Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets endothelial transcription factor GATA-2 (gene GATA2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 50.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 95 kDa.
GATA2 is a zinc-finger transcription factor that is essential for the formation and maintenance of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. It also acts in endothelial and lymphatic cells. Germline GATA2 deficiency causes immunodeficiency and a predisposition to myelodysplasia and leukemia, so it is studied in hematology and vascular biology.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL (Human, Rat, Mouse) |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): recombinant human GATA2 protein.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the N-terminal region of human GATA2. The peptide sequence is conserved in rat and mouse.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places endothelial transcription factor GATA-2 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Endothelial cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
