Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects guanylate-binding protein 1 (gene GBP1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Guanylate-binding protein 1 (GBP1) is an interferon-induced large GTPase of the dynamin superfamily. In infected cells it coats pathogen-containing vacuoles and cytosolic bacteria, helping disrupt them and promoting inflammasome activation and pyroptosis. GBP1 is studied in innate immunity to bacteria, viruses and parasites and in inflammation.

The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places guanylate-binding protein 1 in the cytoplasmic vesicle membrane, Golgi apparatus membrane and cell membrane.
